The public is invited to attend a tour hosted by the Bent’s Fort chapter of the Sante Fe Trail Association, Saturday, August 23. The tour will explore the Granada/fort Union Military Freight route between Branson, Colo. and Folsom, N.M. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the Mesa de Maya Gallery in Branson, where the tour will begin at 10 a.m.
The tour will visit Toll Gate Canyon, Metcalf’s Toll Station, Folsom Falls and other sites along the trail. At Folsom, N.M. participants will enjoy a picnic lunch and tour the museum.
