It has recently come to my attention that a new business in the Village Center in Lamar is practicing BAD business.
I thought that if you purchased an item, or more specifically, ordered it from a business, for a great deal of money considering the type of item, that you could get a refund or exchange if it was ordered incorrectly by the business. I was mistaken. When I attempted to exchange the item or get a refund on it, the owner refused to do either and when I suggested more ways to somehow compensate for the loss, she still refused.
I could not seem to get her to make amends to satisfy a customer like any other business would. To keep customers, you keep them happy, then you get more business. Maybe this new business doesn’t really want to be part of Lamar’s economy.
