On May 10, 2008 my mother passed away, this was a time in my life that I was not prepared for. But in life the good Lord always helps you through it. And in my path he placed John Sykes. As a safety director and a transportation manager I have arranged over twenty funerals for families that were grief stricken and it would have been a relief to have some one like John in these families passing.

I met John on May 13, 2008 right away he started delivering his personal touch, at one of the lowest points in my life. He lifted me with his kindness and energy. Johns attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. All the arrangements were effortless on the family’s part. John took care of my mother’s funeral like he was part of my family. With John on the clock I was able to deal with my family matters and take care of getting everyone to the funeral. During an event like this John allowed me to comfort my family and be able to grieve with them. After our first meeting I knew I had nothing to worry about, and I was correct. All of the arrangements were perfect. The attention to detail was note worthy. John you have a calling and every one in Lamar and surrounding areas should be thankful to have you provide service to their families.

With Greatest Appreciation,

George Schriver and family
