The Holly Historical Society met on Tuesday, August 12 at the museum with 13 members present.
The regular business meeting was opened by President Ronald Thompson. Nola Mae Ice reported that the application for 501 C 3 non-profit organization has been approved. Copies will go into the HHS Lock Box at the Colorado East Bank and Trust. Full story »

Holly Historical Society receives grant for restoration work

HOLLY—The Colorado Historical Society has completed the reviewing of grant applications submitted to the State Historical Fund for the April 1, 2008 deadline. On August 1, 2008 the Holly Historical Society was notified their grant application had been accepted and a grant of $79,816 would be awarded for phase one project for the exterior restoration and rehabilitation of the Holly City Hall.
