Everett “Dale” Carberry
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Life Center Four Square Gospel Church for longtime Lamar resident, Everett D. Carberry. Pastor Manuel Tamez will be officiating.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Veteran’s Section of Fairmount Cemetery under the auspices of the Lamar VFW, St. George Creaghe, Jr. Post #3621 and the American Legion, Post #71.
Dale was born March 16, 1934 at Alva, Okla. to Everett R. and Mary Etha (Mitchell) Carberry and passed away at the age of 74 on August 6, 2008 at his home in Lamar, Colo. with his family by his side.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Carberry of the family home in Lamar; his children, Gale (Kyle) Neill of Holly, Ernest (Rhonda) Carberry of Lamar, Vicki “Roxie” Carberry and friend Debbie of Pueblo and Scott Carberry of Denver. He is also survived by his brothers, Warren (Connie) Carberry of San Antonio, Texas, Carl (Rosie) Carberry of Waynoka, Okla. and Austin (Carol) Carberry of Meeker, Okla. and a sister Twila (Gary) Barrett of Standford, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kyle, Kira, Kala, Kody, Cassandra, Curtis, Melissa, Amanda and Bonathan as well as other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Everett “Dale” Carberry Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
