Graveside funeral services for longtime Holly, Colo. resident Pam L. Gordon, age 96, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday July 24, 2008 at the Holly Cemetery in Holly, Colo. Reverend J.A. Stapleton will officiate the service.
Visitation for Mrs. Gordon will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday July 23, 2008 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colo.
Mrs. Gordon was born on April 27, 1912 in Holly, Colo. and died on Sunday July 20, 2008 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alexander and Molly Wagner both of Holly; by her husband, Alvin M. “Bill” Gordon of Holly on December 9, 1993; by one son, Charles M. Gordon of Holly on March 14, 1997; by one brother, Charles Wagner of Holly; and by one sister, Martha Newkirk of Conway, Ariz.
Mrs. Gordon is survived by one son, Marshal “Bob” Gordon of Holly; by three grandchildren, Tami (Sam) Frenchman of Eufaula, Okla.; Ron Gordon of Brunswick, Ga.; and Jay Gordon of Norfolk, Va.; by five great grandchildren; by three sisters, Esther Ruggles of Denver, Colo.; Lillian Decinick of Longmont, Colo.; and Edith Barnes of Holly; and by one brother, Vernon (Diane) Wagner of Great Bend, Kan. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Holly Volunteer Ambulance Fund or to Prowers Medical Center either directly or through Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel.
