Eight Island serves traditional Island diner food like teriyaki chicken, panko mahi mahi and short ribs served with a couple scoops of rice and a scoop of "mac" salad on the side. Influences from the melting pot of cultures found on the islands — Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Korean and Filipino — are found in the spices, seasonings and sauces that complement beef, chicken, pork and fish.
